Active Ingredient: Sulphaclozine Sodium Monohydrate (30%).
Target Species: Poultry and rabbits.
Effective Against:
Coccidiosis: Caused by various Eimeria species, such as E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. mitis, and E. meleagrimitis.
Fowl Typhoid: Caused by Salmonella gallinarum and/or Salmonella pullorum.
Fowl Cholera: Caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Infectious Coryza.
Mechanism of Action: Sulfaclozine is a sulfonamide antibiotic that inhibits the synthesis of folic acid in protozoa and bacteria by acting as a competitive antagonist of para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA).
Dosage and administration
ESB3 is administered orally, typically mixed in the drinking water.
Coccidiosis:
General dosage: 1 gram per liter of drinking water (300 ppm active ingredient).
For severe infections (E. tenella, E. necatrix): 1.5 to 2 grams per liter of drinking water.
The treatment duration is usually 3 days, followed by a 2-day pause, and then another 3 days of treatment
